Deerfield, IL – 1 January 2011 Friedman Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Software, Inc. (“Constellation”, TSX: CSU) announces that it has acquired Viewlocity Technologies Ltd. (“Viewlocity”).
Viewlocity offers Supply Chain Management (SCM) software solutions across a broad range of industries and markets, with a worldwide customer base. Product offerings include solutions for manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, logistics providers and public-sector organizations, and allow for supply chain integration and optimization, event management and visibility both within the enterprise and across multiple enterprises. Viewlocity has offices in Dallas, Texas and the United Kingdom.
As a result of the purchase, Viewlocity will become part of Constellation’s Friedman Operating Group, and will continue to operate as an independent division of Friedman. Viewlocity will continue to develop, enhance, and sell SCM software solutions while continuing to provide the highest level of support to their customers.
