Deerfield, IL – 6 June 2011 Friedman Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Software, Inc. (“Constellation”, TSX: CSU) announces that it has acquired XDATA Solutions Inc.

XDATA offers a robust ERP product suite for make-to-order industries, including furniture, cabinets and recreational vehicle suppliers. The complete XDATA product suite runs on either the IBM iSeries DB2 database or the Microsoft SQL Server database, and includes order entry, order processing and fulfillment, manufacturing, customer service, warehousing, and accounting modules. XDATA has its office in South Bend, IN.

As a result of the purchase, XDATA will become part of Constellation’s Friedman Operating Group, and will continue to operate as an independent division of Friedman.  XDATA will continue to sell, develop and enhance their make-to-order ERP product suite and will continue to provide the highest standard of support and service to XDATA customers.

Eric Herrmann, Chief Financial Officer of the Friedman Operating Group commented, “The acquisition of XDATA is an ideal match for the Friedman Operating Group.  XDATA has a longstanding and loyal customer base located primarily in the domestic United Sates. We have now strengthened our customer share in the make-to-order markets and added additional platform capabilities.  XDATA’s expertise in the make to order markets will be a wonderful compliment to Friedman’s existing business.”

Charles Gaby, President for XDATA stated, “This is an extremely positive acquisition for XDATA’s customers and employees.  It reinforces our company’s commitment to the small and medium size make-to-order markets while providing XDATA with the additional stability and strength of partnering with a much larger enterprise.”
